Mary Stewart's signature?

Hi Mary Stewart fans! I am hoping someone can help me out here -- does anyone have a copy of Mary Stewart's signature?

[Sidenote: I've always meant to write her a letter, but honestly it's a little intimidating. I mean, what do you write to your favorite author of all time? Hi. I really really like your books. I don't want to be lame! It's MARY STEWART!]

The reason I'd like to have her signature is because I am getting married in April, and instead of plain old table numbers for the reception, I'm going to name each table after one of my favorite authors. (Plus a couple of my fiance's favorites.) I'd like to incorporate images of their signatures somehow (either on the table number signs or the escort cards).

Here are the other signatures I've found so far:

Can you read that last one? I'm struggling with David McCullough too -- he's my fiance's favorite, but his signature is totally illegible!

So, if you've ever gotten a letter from Mary Stewart or have a book autographed by her, would you consider scanning it and sending it to me (jenniesizemore@gmail.com)? I'd really appreciate it!

If I get anything, I'll share it with everyone. :)

Georgette Heyer, of course!

Some people who are selling signed books will scan the signature page and post it, and book dealers frequently have big binders full of reproduced signatures, for reference. Apparently, there are lots of people who will write Ronald Reagan in the front of his biography and then put it on Ebay.

I do and I think it's genuine. I bought a copy of MY BROTHER MICHAEL in a 2ndhand bookshop in the north of Scotland. When I opened it I discovered Lady Stewart had signed the title page!

I can scan this and email it to you if you still need it. Her signature is small, in blue ink and looks a bit faded.

Needless to say, this book is now one of my most treasured possessions. :-)

I've sent along a scanned signature for you to use. If it somehow went astray, please reply to this comment and I'll e-mail it again. Thanks, Jana

I have her signature too, as many years ago I was sad enough to write to Mary Stewart and tell her how much I had enjoyed her books over the years ! I received a lovely reply and it was great I think to tell someone what pleasure they give...

Love this blog and the website too, its great that these books are still being enjoyed, I read them over again at least once every year or so, I just wish I could forget them to have the pleasure of coming to them new again....

I have a letter from her. I wrote just after my first book was published. And she wrote such a lovely response. One of my cherished possessions. In my first fourteen novels -- one of her books (or a character) is mentioned as part of the storyline.
