If I had the money, I'd buy the whole set! You can get them on Amazon UK.

New UK covers!
Emily, a fellow Mary Stewart fan, let me know about these beautiful new editions that Hodder is publishing in the UK in March. Oooooh, LOVE! The illustrations are great -- especially because the women are wearing such fabulous clothes and looking as posh and capable as any Mary Stewart heroine should.

I like the idea, but they look like Katie Fforde covers. (Who is not to be reviled)
Lovely covers.
Don't know if this has been mentioned on the blog before, but I just came across this interview:

Oh, I like very much!
Of course, they would have to re-released AFTER I had completed by Mary Stewart collection.
Ooh fabulous! But will they be available in Waterstones and the like (I shall e mail them and find out!) so that new readers can discover her?
Just discovered your blog and was thrilled to find more MS fans!
I have loved her books since I was a teen and have all but "The Wind off the Small Isles"
I surely hope they reissue that one too!
I'm hosting a Mary Stewart giveaway on my blog along with Hodder. Readers just need to leave a comment saying which Stewart novel they'd like and why; two commenters will get the Stewart of their choice.

I'd love it if you could post the giveaway on your site; thanks!
just found you: see below my blog post about what Mary Stewart meant to me as a teen:

Great website!
My sisters and I have been great fans since our teens.
My sis and I absolutely adore Mary Stewart! And we started snapping up the books with these covers once they started coming out:) They seem mysterious and chick-litty at the same time, and for some reason that really does it for me:)
Btw, if you want to read a review of 'This Rough Magic', pls feel free to see my post: http://isabellaamaris.blogspot.com/2011/07/this-rough-magic-by-mary-stewart-book.html
Sadly, it's the only review I've done of Stewart's books so far, but this book was the first of hers that I read, so it's no surprise that I still love it so much.
Hmmm, I'm so glad I found this blog! I shall be visiting often. Cheers, and will return soon:)
If anyone wants to buy these new editions, The Book People (Google that name) is selling ten for £9.99
Even if you only wanted a couple, it's still worth it.
I noticed the name "Griffin" on some of the covers of Fawcett Crest books and was curious about this artist. I think it was Rick Griffin, who became well known especially for Grateful Dead album covers and concert posters. None of the biographies I found online mention Stewart books, but an ad for a Phyllis Whitney book claims to have a Rick Griffin cover. The signature and style are the same as on the Stewart covers. By the way, my Stewart covers have yet to be posted!
I'm a new Mary Stewart fan - I read Nine Coaches Waiting and enjoyed it so much that I bought three of her other books (The Moonspinners, The Ivy Tree and Madam, Will You Talk?) all in these lovely UK editions. I'm looking forward to reading these! I want to collect all of these books - just 9 more to go until I have the entire set. :) So glad our local bookstore here in the Philippines carry these titles.
"Thornyhold" and "The Stormy Petrel" were great novels which I reread. Both are very compelling.
These are some nice-looking covers! They also seem to suggest a peculiar sort of fashion sense: 19th century fashion cast onto day glo modern colors. Someone's probably gonna go and bring that into real life as a brand, since there are more accessible venues for getting a trademark nowadays.

Oh no! Hate the new covers. Loved the old covers with the misty landscapes. I have a few of them (to replace old copies that have fallen apart)but must try and get the set before they disappear.
While I’m thrilled that the books have been republished, I do NOT like the cover illustrations. The eras of fashion are wrong on several of them and Mary Stewart heroines were not prissy or particularly posh. Some were in reduced circumstances and slightly shabby initially. Working as a governess or in a coffee house and dressy like the cover of British Vogue……it doesn’t work for me.
